- A 60-minute findings walkthrough with your team
Member retention starts with data you can trust.
For associations and SDOs, the problem isn't a shortage of data — it's that membership and engagement data sit in systems that don't talk to each other. That makes it nearly impossible to prove member value, see which members are in danger of churn or meaningfully improve the member experience. Cruz Street's assessment maps what you have across the AMS, LMS and ERP, surfaces what your data can answer about member engagement and retention today and lays out the shortest path to one trusted view of every member.
How Cruz Street delivers for Associations and SDOs
See member churn coming
Churn is the number one fear we hear from association leaders. The good news is, the warning signs are usually in your data ahead of time. We score members by engagement and renewal risk and segment the ones pulling away, so your team can reach a lapsing member while it still matters — not after the renewal notice bounces.
Prove member value to your board
Leadership and the board want outcomes, not activity logs. We turn engagement and program data into self-service dashboards that show what members actually get from you — and what keeps them renewing. Your CFO, program director and head of membership engagement each get the numbers they need.
One source of truth for every member
Membership sits in the AMS, learning in the LMS and finance in the ERP — and none of them agree at the detail level. We consolidate member and program data into one governed source, so every team works from the same record instead of stitching exports together.

Association analytics that doubled product revenue in a year
Challenge
The International Code Council needed to understand member engagement, e-commerce performance and its Net Promoter Score across its platforms — without leaning on internal IT — to be sure its offerings were meeting member needs.
Solution
Cruz Street unified product, e-commerce, multiple CRMs and membership systems into one governed data foundation, with automated monthly KPI reporting, executive dashboards and subscription renewal and churn analysis.
Results
ICC doubled product revenue within a year and grew organic traffic 80% year over year, with five-figure savings in digital ad spend. Membership engagement became fully visible — subscription tiers were validated and renewal rates improved.
“We have gained valuable insights month after month.”

How the free assessment works
Step 1
Assessment (about 1 week)
A 15-minute intro call, then a short intake. We inventory where your data lives (AMS, LMS, ERP) using screenshares and system documentation, not bulk exports.
Step 2
Findings (60-minute readout)
We walk your team through a readiness score: what you can report on today, what you cannot, and why.
Step 3
Roadmap (yours to keep)
A written, prioritized plan with effort estimates. Churn signals and board reporting first. No obligation to hire us to build it.
Most assessments go from kickoff to readout in about two weeks.
Questions, answered
What does it cost?
Nothing. The assessment, the 60-minute readout and the written roadmap are free. If you later want us to build any of it, that is a separate, scoped proposal you can decline.
How long does it take?
We reply within one business day to schedule kickoff. Kickoff to readout is typically about two weeks.
What do you need from us?
One point of contact, an hour or two with the person who knows your systems (AMS, LMS, ERP), and a list of the tools you use. About 2 to 3 hours of your team's time in total.
Is our data secure?
The assessment does not require you to send us member records. We work from system documentation and screenshares, and any access you do grant is limited, read-only and yours to revoke.
Who does the work?
Cruz Street's own data engineers and analysts. We do not hand your project to a reseller.
What happens after the assessment?
You keep the roadmap. You can run it yourselves, hire us to build it, or do nothing. We follow up once afterward to answer questions, then leave it with you.
